What do we know about it?

How do we measure it? And.....

What it actually is?

How can i feel it?

The answer is as simple as we make it. When many of us believe that all these answers are somewhat related, and that these may have the same rhetorical meaning. It isn't quite the same.

What we know about beauty is that it is a word.. obviously. Seriously speaking, its an abstract feeling. One may find a sweet little pig beautiful while he may hate a little kitten. But I'd like to peacefully remind that what we knew about beauty since last centuries or so is based entirely on outer presentation i.e. colour, clothes, and ofcourse on bodily features. Whom a person finds beautiful is his choice and perception. So we refer to beauty and being beautiful as an subjective quality; Changing from person to person.

Then comes the question, how can I say someone is beautiful? For all it matters, there is no standard set for beauty. As I said before, it depends entirely upon you. Scientifically speaking, and now here I quote, "we can measure physical quantities". Now, since it is a feeling, what can you measure about it. Philosophical measurements come into play as well. But what of it? One believes, one doesn't. Thus I say, beauty is immeasurable.

What is beauty actually? It's a feeling of immeasurable happiness and peace. When one feels immense joy and peace looking at something or at a person, he finds it beautiful. But why happiness? Well the answer to that is, there should be NO REASON. Just simply smiling.

I have often seen people finding their food beautiful. Is it odd or weird? No, it isn't. Food gives them joy and peace. But I personally wouldn't use 'beautiful' as a word to describe my food. Why? Well because while food may be tasty and heart warming, it actually doesn't give you peace. When I say peace, it doesn't mean silence and quiet. What I mean from peace is the feeling of being content.

I find my brother beautiful. Because I am happy to see him and content with how charmingly sweet he is. That's what it means to be beautiful.

So, have you ever felt that you are not beautiful enough or try to be beautiful for someone? I would say DON'T try. Like yourself, love yourself.

There is no point in being beautiful according to other people's standards. Trust me. However kind, nice they are, they aren't worth you changing yourself for them. Even so you do, what guarantees that it will make them like you more? Nothing, right? So leave that be. Change for yourself. Change to realise your dreams. Change to love the world.

Then again, there is no Guru Mantra to feel beautiful about yourself. Just practice. Start feeling happy about yourself and where you are in your life. Smile when you think about you doing your weird normal things. Just smile. Feel peaceful at your stupid little doings. Be content and consistently work for your dreams. And slowly you'll realise that you are already in love with yourself and find yourself more beautiful than anything else. Now this comes with a plus point.....which is...

"When you love yourself, people will love you."

Don't let today's beauty standards mold you or make you define yourself through them. You are beautiful however you are; you just didn't know it yet and need to see it for yourself.😉
